We have talked about it many times. The most powerful ways to attract new clients is by being considered the expert in your field? I prefer to call it “being the leading authority in your field”.
I have written previous posts about developing your leading authority status. You could check this one out – it was about writing a book – #1 Way to Build Your Expert Status.
Today I found this great video from Rich Brooks of Flyte.biz.
Rich gives you some great tips about using LinkedIn's answer section to build your leading authority!
Just one quick note – LinkedIn has changed it's screen just slightly and you might have to click on the more button to get to answers now.
Hi Michele, Thanks for sharing this video on LinkedIn. This is one of the 3 top Social Networking sites but I’ve not taken the time to get to know it as I should.
I appreciate that you lead by example as this is one of the methods you’ve highlighted in your tips for the Ultimate Blog Challenge – finding an existing video and using it, along with an introduction and conclusion on our blogs. Since I’m lagging behind on making my own videos, I’ll implement this strategy in the meantime. Thank you.

I have just started working with LinkedIn (thanks to your teleclass that kicked off this blog challenge). So this is good to know—another way to use it. Although right now it seems a little scary answering questions in “public!” But I guess if you really know your subject, it shouldn’t be. I suppose it’s better to start out by reading other’s answers until you get the hang of it.
