Sometimes I just need a few great quotes to get me through whatever it is my day is throwing at me. I thought you might enjoy these
“He who influences the thought of his times, influences the times that follow.”
Elbert Hubbard
“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.”
Jack Welch
“The secret to happiness is freedom. The secret to freedom is courage.”
Thucydides
“Every human has four endowments: self-awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom. The power to choose, to respond, to change.”
Stephen R. Covey
“Do it for free, do it for money, do it when no one shows up, do it when everybody shows up. Just keep doing it.”
Jane Lynch
“If what you are doing is not moving you towards your goals, it's moving you away from your goals.”
Brian Tracy
Michele –
I love the quote, ““Do it for free, do it for money, do it when no one shows up, do it when everybody shows up. Just keep doing it.””
This reminds me of the video of ‘infamous’ of Art Williams, “Just Do It!” (not to be confused with the Nike slogan that arrived, many years later!)

Hey Paul – Thanks for checking on me today. I got 2 blogs out this afternoon :))
Hi Michele. I am just doing the exercise of going through all the members in the Ultimate Blog Challenge with blogs that resonate with our blog and writing comments on their blog posts. Unfortunately quite a number stopped posting after 7 days. Not sure why but 7 days seems to be the magic number for people to quit. To paraphrase your quote – “The secret to freedom is courage .. just keep doing it.” – even when no nobody is listening – even when nobody comments – even when nobody re-tweets. Regardless, the skills you learn in the challenge are invaluable. You grow as a writer. You learn about wordpress and plugins. You learn about social media. And, most importantly of all, you grow as a person.
Hi Danny, That is so interesting – 7 days! That is definitely the difference between those who succeed and those who don’t. Sometimes we go a little off track but we have to redirect and get back on track. I have been out of town for almost 7 days and wasn’t able to blog while I was gone but now I am back in the swing of things. Hey thanks for stopping by the blog. :)) Michele
