1. This book is about conscious business and being a conscious entrepreneur. What does being
a conscious entrepreneur mean to you?

It means using your business as a vehicle for expression, expansion, and service. Being an expression of all that God called you to be, expansion in it, and serving humanity as a foundation for leading.

2. What inspired you to be a contributing author in Align, Expand and Succeed?

The title was the instant attraction because it speaks to what I teach exactly, and I want to support the conscious business movement or shift.

3. Why is the topic of Align, Expand and Succeed important to you?

Because status quo isn’t applicable any longer, and consciousness is on the rise.  We as business owners or entrepreneurs, are perfectly poised to support the shift from the “old way” of doing business to a more connected approach, where everyone is supported and “wins.”

4. Why are you specially qualified to write about this topic?

Because I have been blessed with the gift of vision. That gift allowed me to see beyond tough circumstances in my youth, I was homeless at 16.  Only by my connection to God, keen awareness, a huge desire to boldy be myself, and vision was I able to be lead out of those circumstances.    Helping others tap into those same abilities to align, expand and succeed is what called me to write about this topic.

5. Do you write to make money, for the love of writing or both?

I love words, always have, so I have to say I write for the love it first, and because I am in business, I now write to make money also.

6. What makes you proud about your involvement with Align, Expand and Succeed?

First and foremost the people, there are so many exceptional people involved in this project and I’m so honored to be a part of it with them.  Secondly, the lives that I know this will touch and support, it doesn’t get better than that!

7. What does the future hold for you and your books?

I don’t know what God has in mind, but I feel a constant calling to write.  I am working on a new book now that I am thrilled about, so I hope to keep writing and touching lives.

8. What makes this a book that other people MUST read and WHY?

Because I believe God is calling all of us to rise higher, we have been running amuck, so to speak.  Greed and consumption are rampant and I believe we are seeing a shift in the way we do business to a more cooperative, connected model.  This book is a must have tool for anyone who is looking for a fresh approach to doing business.

9. What people NEED to read this book and WHY?

Primarily entrepreneurs, but anyone really who is looking to raise or support their own consciousness in business.  Why?  To contribute to what I call the global tune-up.  Energetically when we are more conscious everyone benefits.

10. What sparks your creativity? Any tips to help others spark their own creativity?

Nature and music are what spark my creativity, there is nothing like being outdoors, and even better by water, to hear God and your intuition.  And getting a good “vibe” going with uplifting music and dance, well for me, there’s nothing more inspirational than that.

My best advice to someone else for sparking creativity is to breathe, just sit quiet and breathe.  Turn down the mind chatter and listen from your heart.  What wants to emerge

Then do what comes naturally to you, write, dance, paint, cry whatever wants to happen in that moment.  You’ll be amazed at what can come from that place, simply by breathing.

11. What do you think motivates people to become authors? What motivated you to get into
this unusual industry?

Writing is a form of expression, an art no different than painting or sculpture, so I believe authors have something they want to express through words and that is what motivates them to create.  God motivated me, no other possible answer for me.  He is always stretching me taking me places I am not brave enough to go on my own.

12. If a potential reader thinks that your book wouldn't interest them, what would you say to
convince them to buy?

I would ask them, if you could be given a tool or tools that would make your life and business flow, that would take the pressures of getting and doing off of you and allow you to receive, would you want it?

13. What is your final message to our readers?

Your life is an opportunity to shine all that God is, gave you, and is calling you to be. How do you want to use it?  How will you align with it, expand in it, succeed, AND lead by example?  EXPRESS your life, take chances, dare to disturb your dormant dreams, and share them with the world through your conscious business!
