Kim recently asked, “I want to use teleseminars or webinars to fill my program, how many people do I need to listen to the preview call?
Here's what I told Kim…
Can we help Kim a little more? What percentage of people buy from your preview teleseminars? What are some of your best strategies for getting more people on the call?
Also, if this is a trouble spot for you (I think it is for a lot of people…) stay tuned. I'm working on something that will help you.
Hi Michelle, can you run those same numbers on a soft launch series where you send a series of emails to your list about your product. The first with an offer of a “Get Acquainted” call, then follow ons.
Thanks,
Nneka
Hi Nineka, When I look at a potential launch to just my list without a preview call. I can calculate that 20% of my list will open the email. If it is extremely well written 35 to 40% will click on the link to look at the sales page and a sales page will usually convert at about 3%. An exception to that rule are video sales pages which I have had convert at about 6%. So let’s say you have 1000 on your list – 2oo open the email – 70 got to the actual sales page – 2 will buy the product. And those numbers are generous.
Michelle, thank you for giving honest numbers. Too many people make it seem easy to fill a program, but your examples present the reality– we all need more prospects than we think.
