Most people let themselves be sucked into the black hole of not so much productivity and a lot of shopping – only to re-emerge the second week in January with no momentum – having to ‘start over'.

I want you to raise your right hand and repeat after me, “Michele, I want December to be the most awesome month EVER”.
Congratulations, you have now taken the first step to an awesome December (and more importantly) and terrific 2013.
I have a friend who turned 40 recently. She started getting ready six months before her 40th birthday – she lost some weight, put some extra effort into her business — and when the day finally came she celebrated. (No black balloons or regrets for hitting middle age for her – she was already on her way to a banner new decade!)
I challenge you to be like my friend, Get going now so that when January comes – you are already on your way…
The decision is easy…
We have the chance to enter 2013 with a smile on our face and the wind at our backs
Or…
Why not just coast until January?
Because at the end of the day, and at the end of the month, we will feel better. We will be happier having made the decision and taken action to reach our goals.
I am not Michele the Grinch wanting to steal your holiday fun. Go ahead go out and have a blast. I'm saying that even the most social of butterflies has down time during December. Why not use it to improve your business?
3 WAYS TO COMMIT RIGHT NOW:
1. I want you to sit down and really think about how much money you need to make in the first quarter of 2013. What are your expenses, how much extra would just make your life better. Then I want you to make a plan. See my post on Revenue Projections for step by step instructions.
2. I want you to commit to increasing your social network by 10% in December. Liking and sharing with other people is the easiest way to do this.
3. Decide right now that December is going to be a month of progress. Not a month of stalling or jogging in place.
