A couple of years ago I was having lunch with a friend of mine and she said to me “I find it interesting that most people I know leave insurance policy's to their family but your family leaves businesses.”
I have thought about that conversation many times but since my dad, Johnny Mere, passed away on June 27th I can't seem to stop thinking about it. My dad left an amazing legacy. At his funeral there were hundreds of people who all wanted to tell me how my dad changed their lives – he either gave them a job, helped them start a business, took them fishing, fed them, made them laugh or pulled them out of the ditch. He was an amazing man.
For my family, dad left businesses and property but he also taught us how to build businesses that allow us to live an amazing life, travel and take action on our dreams.
What will your legacy be?
