I know some of you are still deciding whether to come to my live event in Houston. Going to a live event (especially one NOT in your town) seems like a risky investment. First, there is the cost of the event – then, the travel expenses. Layered on top of that is are more personal fears – what if nobody talks to me. What if I go and I don't learn anything or make any new connections (believe me, I understand those feelings AND I can say that in 5 years of doing TAGP events, I've never seen anyone go home completely empty handed).

So… about 4 years ago, I was tuned into a teleseminar given by one of my favorite mentors…. she was interviewing Adam Urbanski. I wanted to meet HER (not really Adam) at Adam's conference. But, I kept talking myself out of going…
– It was very expensive to get from Louisiana to California
– Hotels in Orange County aren't cheap.
– And… I waited until the last possible second to sign up (so instead of paying $297 or whatever – I paid several thousand dollars.
Yeah, it was a risk and I had no idea what would happen for me at that conference….
But… even scarier, I think of what would have happened if I had NOT taken the risk….
When I went to that conference, I had an idea in my head that I would work with Moms with businesses in my local area. I did not have at team. Heck, I didn't even really know anyone with online businesses. I listened to teleseminars (like a lot of you do). At the conference, I met a coach, I found a team and the whole entire direction of my business changed to something that works!
If that hadn't happened, I can guarantee you that you would not be reading this blog post right now. My business did not really have a foundation. I would have given up on it. Maybe I would have gone back to Mary Kay or just waited around until my family decided to re-open our trucking business. I know, not life shattering – but very scary to me. This business has been a gift – being able to help YOU with your business has been an even greater gift.
And to think… if I had not listened to my gut and made the risky choice – I would have never met you. Now, that's scary.
